Elixi Heartbene is a patented mixture of Finnish crushed flaxseed, plant sterol and potassium and calcium salts. Elixi Heartbene helps the blood pressure to remain normal* and reduces the cholesterol level of the blood**. Elixi Heartbene is intended as a part of a varied diet. The product is gluten-free.
*Potassium helps the blood pressure to remain normal. **Plant sterols have been shown to reduce blood cholesterol. A high level of cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary disease. The beneficial effect of plant sterols on the cholesterol level of the blood can be gained by consuming 1.5 g – 2.4 g of plant sterols on a daily basis. The daily dose (10 g) contains 1.8 g of plant sterol.
