Helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels (alpha-linolenic acid)* Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) is an essential fatty acid for humans and a precursor to omega-3 fatty acids. 59% of Elixi Flaxseed Oil consists of alpha-linolenic acid. Reducing the intake of saturated fatty acids helps maintain normal cholesterol levels. Not suitable for frying.

*High cholesterol is a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. The beneficial effect is achieved by consuming 2g of alpha-linolenic acid per day.
